In the short amount of time that I’ve been a full-fledged RealtorĀ® I have had the opportunity to work with some incredible people. Here are a few of my favorites:
1. First time home buyers: I’ve had several of these folks and love learning about everything they expect from their first home. We get along famously and tend to enjoy our work together. There’s also very few things as exhilirating as helping a young couple purchase their first home together.
2. Military buyers/renters: While other RealtorsĀ® may scoff at working with renters, I jump at the opportunity. Granted, the clients have to be as cooperative with me as I am with them, but once that’s established we tend to have a great time looking for their next residence. With military personnel the game is a bit different. Sometimes they’re uncertain how long they’ll be in a particular location. Whether their orders will be extended or if they’ll have to pack up and ship out in a couple years. Either way, we always find something they can live with comfortably. Military folks rock my world because they’re anxious to tell all their friends/colleagues/coworkers about the work I did for them, and in their line of work, they have a lot of contacts.
3. Seasoned Buyers/Sellers: These people are great because they know what they want, they know what they don’t want, they know what they can afford, they know where they want to be, they understand the piles of paperwork involved in buying and selling and they’re completely okay with all of it. I tend to learn from my seasoned clients, and we get along famously.
As a young Realtor I’m looking forward to the many different types of situations that still lie ahead of me. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be the next client I write rave reviews about!
